PQQ Update
The deadline for submitting PQQ Responses for the points4life procurement has now passed. Whilst no new supplier details will be added to the supplier marketplace area of this website, the site itself will remain operational for the coming months. Interested parties may wish to check back at regular intervals for update messages that will be posted on this home page as required.
The points4life team would like to thank all suppliers who submitted a PQQ response for the efforts that they have put into the procurement process to date. A separate communication has been sent to these suppliers via the BravoSolution website messaging facility with further information.
Bidders’ Conference Documentation Update
Material from the points4life Bidders’ Conference held on Monday 16th February 2009 is now available to all suppliers. Please refer to the Procurement Process tab for further details.
The Scheme
points4life is a revolutionary new loyalty programme which will enable people to live happier and healthier lives through eating better and moving more! It will take knowledge and technology from the private sector and apply them to the public sector. Through the use of government, local authority and private sector funding, points4life will offer members unrivalled benefits.
“If points4life is successful in increasing levels of physical activity and the uptake of healthy food choices, I expect that many other local areas will be interested in adopting the scheme in their area and I would fully support this.”

This Website
This website is a tool to feed information to all stakeholders involved in the procurement process. All the information required will either be contained within this site or will be signposted from this site. There are also contact details for our procurement consultants should you require further assistance (see contact us). Although this website is an important tool for the sharing of information, it is intended to allow potential bidders to share information with other potential bidders in order to form “whole bid” coalitions or partnerships in connection with the project, and is for information only. Use of this website does not form part of the official procurement process and its content is not official procurement documentation.
Further details on the procurement process are available in the Memorandum of Information, which is available in the Procurement Process section of the website, along with a Glossary of Terms.
The points4life procurement process will be managed through a separate web-based tendering platform, BravoSolution. Suppliers must formally register their interest for this project on BravoSolution by clicking on the Registration tab above and following the links.
Upon registering with BravoSolution, suppliers will be invited to complete an initial questionnaire about their organisation and their experience in providing services in the thirteen segments listed on the left of this page.
Suppliers will be given the opportunity to display their information to other suppliers on each of the segment pages in a supplier marketplace, so that suppliers can contact other suppliers to form consortia, coalitions or partnerships in order to bid for the points4life contract.
The points4life contract will not be divided into lots: only whole bids will be considered. It is therefore important that suppliers who cannot provide all twelve of the points4life segments form relationships with suppliers who are able to provide the missing segments.
Displaying information in this marketplace is open to any organisation, without obligation. The publication of any organisation’s details in this supplier marketplace does not constitute an endorsement by the points4life contracting authorities, NHS Manchester or Manchester City Council. Each organisation should conduct its own due diligence on potential partner organisations.
