Intelligent Health have developed a system that has been tested in the Royal Parks, London and being developed by Transport for London to register unstructured physical activity from a walk in the park or to school to a keep fit class, football club or walking up and down stairs at work. Our system is designed to involve large numbers of individuals who will swipe their own RFID card onto a receiver that is also a normal mobile phone. Each swipe will immediately be reported on the person's own Points4life activity page and converted to calories, speed, distance and points.

Our deep understanding of physical activity promotion within the NHS, transport, academia and the fitness industry will ensure that we will choose the best partners in Manchester to complete this important part of the Points4life programme.

This is a highly innovative project that will require more than just technology to succeed.
